Jess gained her Feline Safe Handling Certification in 2023. This course teaches how to properly handle cats, to identify stressors, how to keep the grooming process as stress-free as possible as well as cat specific first aid.
To ensure the safety of each pet in our care, our staff members are First Aid and CPR certified.
Jess earned her Difficult Dog Certification in 2023, gaining specialized training in handling pets who may struggle with the grooming process due to fear, anxiety, or aggression. Through gentle, trust-based techniques, we work at each pet's individual pace to create a positive grooming experience. Our goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and confident, while teaching them that grooming can be a relaxing and enjoyable part of their routine.
Jess received her Hair & Skin 101 Certification in 2023. This specialized training focused on understanding hair and skin health, coat-type differences, common causes of skin problems, and science-based approaches to supporting healthy skin and coats. This knowledge helps us provide customized grooming care that promotes both comfort and overall coat health.
